As a ship hurtles through space, the peaceful beings that occupy it live in comfort and security, determined to maintain life as they have known it and to survive at all costs. Such is the spirit of the draenei, passed down from generation to generation. It is a world of sophisticated knowledge and dedicated religion - to the ever guiding naaru - with harmony amongst brothers the highest ideal. For all that they had faced, the draenei would continue to thriv...

...as the dust clears, a delicately framed draenei steps clumsily through the debris. All memory of her previous life vanished, she moves, dazed and confused, in search of any fellow survivors. She meets a few walking draenei, and is horrified to see far more lying injured. She finds herself moving towards a larger structure and meets Zaldun, who appears to be a priest or healer of some sort. As she spends her days at this place, known simply as 'the crash site' - for the draenei had lost their will to give names to the desolation - she begins to restore health and some measure of recollection. She is assured that her name is Illestra, and as she joins the draenei in piecing together the records of their past and their families lines she is led to believe that she has come from the royal family Incedius, and is thus a princess. In this land devoid of much hope, this discovery is something that she clings to, a star to follow, a mark by which to take her stand. Whatever befalls her, the noble line of Incendius must continue.

((insert Narrator's voice here)) Although their desires were well intentioned, in their haste to find persons on which to stake their identity, the draenei were not as diligent in the retrieval of their heritage records as they might have been. As such, Illestra was named of the Incendius line erroneously, and has never had any connection with the draenei nobility, growing up it quite simple surroundings. However, this discovery was only made in the last days of Illestra's time at the crash site, by which she had solidified herself in the knowledge that she was of noble birth and would not hear anything to the contrary. Knowing that it was of little consequence, given that almost all nobility structures had been destroyed with the crash, allowed her to continue in her belief and determined not to say anything more on the subject.

It was only through the perchance travellings of a night elf hunter - journeying to seek out the new wildlife of Azuremyst Isle - that the information of Illestra's erroneous claims have been preserved. Nyadore was present at the crash site when the draenei discovered that they had mistakenly dubbed Illestra of royaltly. The communication of this knowledge has been somewhat sporadic as the night elf would alternately forget that Illestra was not nobility and then forget that she had agreed not to spread the correction of the false heritage. As such Nyadore is not certain whether she has passed on information about Illestra's true heritage, or whether there was anything that she needed to say in the first place.
